RGF's in-duct purifier treats the air in every room your system reaches, so you are not moving a portable unit from room to room.
Built into the system you already run
REME HALO installs inside your ductwork. Every time your furnace, air handler or ducted heat pump moves air, the unit treats it on the way to your rooms. It runs quietly and you do not have to remember to turn it on.

HALO-LED: the newest REME HALO
HALO-LED swaps the traditional UV lamp for a long-life LED cell. It mounts in your ductwork like the original REME HALO and switches on and off with your system.

What independent labs measured
RGF has its technology tested by outside labs, including Intertek, Kansas State University and Innovative Bioanalysis. The charts below show the reductions RGF reports from those tests, so you can see the numbers behind the claims.
Microbes in the air
Percent reduction reported by the testing lab. Chamber tests unless marked home-scale.
Odor-causing chemicals (VOCs)
Percent reduction after 24 hours, measured by GC/MS at a NELAP-accredited lab. RGF advanced oxidation unit.

Fine particles
In RGF's particle chamber test, a REME HALO cleared the air to ISO Class 4 (under 10,000 particles of 0.1 micron and larger) after 12 hours, and ISO Class 3 (under 1,000) after 24 hours.
For scale, standard HEPA filtration is rated down to 0.3 micron.

These are controlled lab and chamber tests, so results in a real home will vary with house size, airflow and how often the fan runs. RGF notes that its studies were run by independent accredited labs and universities, and that some were funded by its major clients. RGF products are not medical devices, and no medical claims are made.

What is REME HALO?
REME HALO is an in-duct air purification system made in the USA by RGF Environmental Group. It mounts in your ductwork and treats the air whenever your system's fan runs.
Does it work with my heat pump or furnace?
REME HALO works with ducted systems: furnaces, air handlers and ducted heat pumps. For ductless homes we will recommend the RGF option that fits your layout.
Is installation messy?
No. On most systems it is a short visit: we cut a small opening in the supply duct, mount the unit and connect power. There is no change to how you use your thermostat.
Has REME HALO been independently tested?
Yes. RGF publishes results from outside labs including Intertek, Kansas State University and Innovative Bioanalysis. They are controlled chamber tests, so real-home results vary. See the testing section on this page or rgf.com/test-results.
What maintenance does it need?
The purification cell is replaced on a schedule set by RGF. We can track it for you and replace it during your regular service visit.
