Fresher air for every guest
Guests notice the air before anything else. We help island hotels, inns, restaurants and rentals keep every room and dining room smelling clean and feeling comfortable, all season.
The first thing guests notice
A musty room after the winter, a whiff of smoke from the last guest, fryer smell drifting into the dining room, or pollen blowing in all summer can undo a great stay or meal and end up in a review. Housekeeping can clean surfaces, but the air keeps circulating.
We install RGF purification in the heating and cooling you already have, and ductless heat pumps where rooms need better comfort, so the air in every room is treated around the clock.
Designed to reduce
- Lingering smoke and cooking odors
- Kitchen and restroom smells in dining rooms
- Musty smells in rooms closed over winter
- Odors in pet-friendly rooms
- Pollen and dust in the summer season
- Bacteria, viruses and mold
- Slime and biofilm in ice machines
Solutions
For every kind of property, from guest rooms to dining rooms
Motels and hotels with wall units
RGF's PTAC purifier mounts inside each unit's cabinet with no changes to the unit, and works whenever the unit runs.
Inns and lodges with ductwork
REME HALO or HALO-LED in the ducts treats every room the system serves, including halls, lobbies and dining rooms.
Ductless heat pumps, room by room
Quiet heating and air conditioning that guests control themselves. Ideal for older inns, additions and suites. Heat pumps
Dining rooms, cafes and bars
REME HALO or HALO-LED in the system serving your dining room and front of house reduces cooking, fryer and restroom odors for guests and staff.
Cleaner ice for drinks and service
RGF Guardian ICE keeps slime and biofilm in check in the bin and head, around the clock. How it works
Cottages and vacation rentals
Opening, closing and closed-season checks, with photo reports when you are away. Seasonal care
Backed by third-party testing
RGF publishes results from outside labs, including Intertek and Kansas State University. In an Intertek chamber test, RGF's HALO-LED cut an airborne virus (MS2) by 99.9% in two hours. These are controlled tests, so real buildings vary, and RGF makes no medical claims.
Ice machines · RGF Guardian ICE
Cleaner ice, around the clock
Ice for the bar, the dining room and the machine down the hall all comes from a bin that stays cold, damp and dark: the perfect place for slime and biofilm to grow. Guests never see inside it, but inspectors do.
RGF's Guardian ICE mounts on the wall beside the machine and pumps a gentle oxidizing plasma, made by its PHI-Cell, into the bin and the ice-making head. It runs automatically 24/7 with no chemicals to add, and RGF says it works with most commercial ice machines.
Designed to reduce
- Slime and biofilm buildup in the bin and head
- Mold, yeast and bacteria
- Time spent on deep cleanings between services
- Sanitation worries at inspection time
Stainless steel, 18 × 4 × 4 in., runs on standard 110 V power. The PHI-Cell is replaced about every 10,000–13,000 hours, with no tools. Warranty: 1 year parts, 2 years cell. Details as published by RGF Environmental Group; it does not replace your ice machine's regular cleaning schedule.

Questions
Hotel, inn and restaurant questions
Will installation disturb our guests?
We schedule around occupancy: in the off-season, between bookings or room by room. Most in-duct and PTAC purifiers install in a short visit per system.
Do the purifiers make noise in the room?
In-duct and PTAC purifiers have no fan of their own. They treat the air your heating and cooling already moves, so guests hear nothing new.
Can it help with pet-friendly and smoking-damaged rooms?
Yes. RGF systems are designed to reduce pet, smoke and cooking odors along with VOCs, which helps rooms smell fresh for the next guest.
Can it help with cooking smells in the dining room?
Yes. RGF purification in the system that heats and cools your dining room and front of house is designed to reduce cooking, fryer and restroom odors as the air circulates, so guests smell the food on the table rather than the kitchen.
Does it replace our kitchen hood or exhaust?
No. Your hood, exhaust and make-up air still do their job over the cooking line. We treat the air your heating and cooling moves through the rest of the restaurant, and can add Guardian ICE to your ice machine.
We close for the winter. Can you help with that too?
Yes. We open and close seasonal properties, check them during the closed season and send photo reports to owners who are away. See our seasonal home care.
Can you handle several buildings or cottages?
Yes. We can plan a property in phases and set up one service schedule for every building, so filters, cells and lamps are changed on time.
