Through the year
A plan that follows the island calendar
| When | Visit | What we do |
|---|---|---|
| Apr–May | Opening | Start up heating and cooling, replace filters, check for winter damage, freshen the air before arrival. |
| Jun–Sep | Summer check | Cooling and dehumidification check for damp coastal summers; guest-turnover air checks for rentals. |
| Oct–Nov | Closing | Set heat for an empty house, check equipment before winter, note anything to fix before spring. |
| Dec–Mar | Closed-season checks | Scheduled visits to confirm heat, humidity and equipment, with photos sent to the owner. |
For owners, caretakers and rental managers
A heating failure in an empty house in February can mean frozen pipes and a costly spring. Regular checks catch problems early, and the reports give owners peace of mind from a distance.
For vacation rentals, REME HALO purification helps keep rooms fresh between guests, cutting lingering cooking, smoke and pet odors.
Every visit
- Heat and thermostat check
- Indoor temperature and humidity reading
- Equipment inspection
- Photos and a short report by email
Questions
Seasonal home questions
I'm not in Maine over the winter. How will I know the house is OK?
On a closed-season plan we visit on a set schedule, check heat, humidity and equipment, and send you photos and a short report after each visit.
Do you work with caretakers and property managers?
Yes. We are happy to coordinate with your caretaker or management company on access, scheduling and reports.
Can you get the house ready before we arrive?
Yes. We can bring the heat or cooling up, check air quality and make sure everything runs before you or your guests arrive.
